    Description

1907 PC765-1 Dietsche Post Cards Ty Cobb (Batting) PSA EX 5. This card was consigned from a collection that is new to the hobby. Overall the set was very well preserved. The rest of the set is available in this same auction. Once graded it became the #2 "All-Time Finest" set that generated a GPA just under the excellent level. A.C. Dietsche was a Detroit based firm so it was only natural for them to honor the team with a series of postcards first circulated during the World Series in 1907. No set of Detroit Tigers would be complete without the young phenom named Cobb. The honoree is seen on two different cards and this is the "Batting" pose that carries a rookie-era 1907 copyright date. Graded PSA EX 5. One of four graded EX by PSA with five rated higher. The total population stands at just 38 submissions.
