    Description

1902-11 W600 Sporting Life - Type 3 Rube Waddell (Street Clothes-Philadelphia) PSA EX-MT 6 - One of Only Two Graded by PSA! Offered is a rare appearance by HoF pitcher Rube Waddell of Philadelphia from the W600 Sporting Life cabinet card series. Waddell is perhaps the flakiest and most undependable major league star of all time. He is infamous for showing up drunk for games on a regular basis. His legendary manager Connie Mack once remarked, "The Rube has a two million dollar body and a two cent head." Personal demons aside, Rube became a member of baseball's elite in Cooperstown in 1946.

Graded PSA EX-MT 6. This card is one of only two Waddell W600's in street clothes on the PSA census. This is an exceptional Type III cabinet with an uncommon "Street Clothes" portrait with the Philadelphia team! Incredible example with just some mild corner wear.
