1888 N28 Allen & Ginter R.L. Caruthers, Baseball PSA NM-MT+ 8.5 - Pop One, None Higher. Caruthers debuted in 1884 with St. Louis. Less than ten years later, "Parisian Bob" Caruthers retired with a 218-99 W-L record and 2.83 ERA. He was one of the brightest stars of the American Association who lead that league in wins, shutouts, winning percentage and earned run average. From the first mainstream tobacco issue we make available this virtually problem free card of the 19th century star baseball. The card has a rough cut along the right edge and gentle corner tip wear. A solid high-end card. Graded PSA NM-MT+ 8.5, this is the only card graded NM-MT+, none higher.
