    Description

1887 N28 Allen & Ginter King Kelly SGC 60 EX 5. "King" Kelly was one of baseball's first true superstars. He is often credited with making the "hit and run," the hook slide and the catcher's practice of backing up first base common practice. Off the field, he was the subject of both song and cinema. Offered is a very clean SGC 60 EX 5 example of Hall of Famer "King" Kelly on a scarce N28 Allen & Ginter card. The offered card suggests its age via some very, very light soiling and mild corner tip wear. It is completely free of major maladies. A pleasing example with a problem free portrait. This is one of four examples at the EX/NM level with six grading higher.
