    1887 N172 Old Judge Ned Hanlon, Detroit (#212-1) PSA EX 5. Hanlon had a solid 14-year playing career but he redefined the managerial sciences and mentored future Hall of Fame managers Wilbert Robinson, John McGraw and Hughie Jennings. He took his squads (Brooklyn or Baltimore) to five NL pennants in seven years from 1894-1900. After his baseball career, Hanlon went to work as Parks Commissioner for the City of Baltimore.
