St. Louis Cardinals Managers Multi-Signed Baseball. Almost certainly the only one of its kind, this ONL (Frick) ball represents a labor of love accomplished over several decades by one devoted fan. The project apparently began with a sweet spot signature from Marty Marion and continued on from there, through Eddie Stanky, Harry Walker, Solly Hemus, Red Schoendienst, Vern Rapp, Whitey Herzog (traced over), Joe Torre, Mike Jorgensen and Tony LaRussa. Each skipper has notated his signature with his years of service to the red birds, with LaRussa simply listing his first season at the helm (note that Torre and Hemus' dates are in another hand). Wisely, the collector encouraged the use of a similar black ink pen for all signers, and each autograph remains in marvelous 9/10 and better condition. The ball exhibits fairly consistent toning, with a few negligible spots of foxing at the sweet spot. A special opportunity for the advanced Cardinals collector. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
