    Description

Signed 1977-1983 Fritsch Cards "One Year Winners" Partial Set (75/118). NOTE: Minus the Connors card there are now 75 signed cards in this presentation.

Veteran hobbyist Larry Fritsch produced three sets of cards (118 total) called "One Year Winners" between 1977 and 1983. These players had extremely short careers like Paul Schramka who appeared in two games in 1953 with no at-bats or Harold Trosky who pitched three innings over two games, won one and retired with a 1.000 winning percentage. Thanks to Larry, for most, these are the only cards on which they appear. What makes this 75-card presentation so amazing is that each of the cards is autographed by the featured player! Signed singles are available here and there but this is the first extensive collection of these cards we are aware of. Each has been signed on front in blue or black marker or pen. Five are inscribed, a handful of others have salutations. How surprised these men must have been to be asked for their autographs. Includes: #'s 3 Brovia, 4 Grimsley, 7 Buker, 9 Necciai, 10 Escalera, 11 Holloman, 13 Pettit, 14 Schramka, 15 Trosky, 16 Wooldridge, 17 Westlake, 18 Brinkopf, 19 Robertson, 21 Brenneman, 22 House, 23 Poulsen, 24 Brunsberg, 25 Hankins, 27 Joyce, 28 Ellis, 29 Duffie, 30 Holtgrave, 33 Hoffman, 35 Rath, 36 Hickman, 37 Fisher, 38 Scott, 39 Hibbs, 40 Gilliford, 41 Botz, 42 Kubiszyn, 43 Rusteck, 45 Vaughan, 46 Graham, 47 Musgraves, 49 Jurewicz, 51 Keller, 52 Gallagher, 53 Thies, 54 Eaddy, 55 Prince, 59 Johnston, 60 Damaska, 61 Flavin, 63 Johnson, 65 Kern, 68 Jacobs, 69 Herrscher, 72 Stubing, 75 Page, 78 Stump, 79 McCall, 81 Withrow, 82 Tiefenthaler, 85 Willis, 86 Foster, 87 Seale, 89 Shoemaker, 91 Gerberman, 92 Pregenzer, 93 Nippert, 94 Demeter, 95 Paciorek, 97 Brice, 99 Koch, 101 White, 103 Schreiber, 104 Killeen, 106 Foss, 109 Sprout, 111 Lindbeck, 112 Blemker, 113 Fitzmaurice, 114 Stillwell and 116 DeGerick.
