    Description

Signed 1955 Topps #123 Sandy Koufax Rookie Card, PSA/DNA Gem Mint 10. In 1955, this mighty Brooklyn Dodger lefty was unknowingly getting ready to help the Dodgers to finally claim a long-awaited World Championship. A youthful but deceptively innocent-looking pitcher, Sandy Koufax -- seen here in his rookie card appearance -- stood ready to join such heroes as Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella and Gil Hodges, and the team's fortunes would change forever. So, too, did the collecting hobby, as the debut-year collectible of Koufax has never relinquished its status as one of the most visually captivating gum cards ever made.

The cardboard it self has been ruled "authentic" (though we would rate it in the GD to VG range), with the fine point blue sharpie signature grading Gem Mint. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Gem Mint 10 (auto grade only).
