Mark Koenig Signed Postcard - 1927 Yankees #2 Hitter.
Best known for being the last surviving member of the 1927 New York Yankees, Koenig played a dozen years in the majors tallying 1,190 career hits. Batting in front of Ruth and Gering in the famed "Murderers' Row", Koenig scored 99 runs - good for fourth on the team - and hit .285. In the '27 World Series he led paced the squad, hitting .500 and committing no errors in 24 chances at shortstop.

Offered is a 3.5x5.5" postcard that shows Koenig as a member of the Detroit Tigers, where he played in 1930 and '31. Signed in bold blue ballpoint ink, that shows light streaking in the "e" of "Koenig" the postcard shows only light wear with a few points of chipping on the edges. Reverse is blank and clean aside from "MARK KOENIG" written in black ballpoint ink. A great addition to a collection of Murderers' Row signed postcards. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA
