Description
Dizzy Dean & Charlie Grimm Autographs Lot of 2. Pair of early autographs were acquired through the mail back in the days when ballplayers would honor such requests. First is a 9/10 Dizzy Dean autograph on a piece of paper affixed to the clipped mailing envelope with its January 1936 postmark. A 10/10 black ink offering from Cubs manager Charlie Grimm appears upon a government postcard mailed near the close of the 1945 NL Championship season. Taps affixed to back from earlier life in a scrapbook, otherwise postcard is in fine condition. LOA from PSA/DNA.Auction Info
