    Description

1990 #67 Bob Lemon Signed Perez-Steele Great Moments, PSA/DNA MT 9. While Bob Feller may get most of the love when it comes to thinking of pitching greats in Cleveland, Bob Lemon's 1948 season was certainly one to remember - the #2 starter in the Indians rotation tossed twenty complete games with half finishing as shutouts to the tune of a 2.82 ERA. Lemon outpitched Warren Spahn in Game 2 of the '48 World Series and went 7 1/3 strong against the Braves in the clincher, bringing Cleveland its first championship since 1920 and its last until the Cavalier snatched the Larry O'Brien Trophy away from the Warriors in 2016.

This lot is perfect for the collector trying to put the finishing touches on a high-grade signed Perez-Steele Great Moments set. Lemon signed, like a true professional, just above the shadows on the mound in bold blue sharpie upon card number #67, which has been graded a "Mint 9" by PSA. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, MINT 9.
