Description

1980-94 Baseball Hall of Famers Signed Collection of Perez-Steele Hall of Fame & Celebration Postcards Lot of 14 Sets. Much more colorful than their Artvue or Gold HOF Plaque postcard predecessors, Perez-Steele Hall of Fame postcards were issued in small sets over more than two decades. The fantastic artwork provides a perfect medium for signatures, and the subject matter is one hundred per cent Hall of Fame material. This enormous collection includes a complete run of boxed sets of series one through twelve of the HOF sets. Please note that several of the sets are errantly in "First Series" boxes.

Following is a list of the signed cards from the HOF sets. Second Series: Carl Hubbell and Charles Gehringer; Third Series: Joe DiMaggio, Bill Terry, Edd Roush, Bill Dickey and Bob Feller; Fourth Series: Stan Musial, Luke Appling and Lou Boudreau; Fifth Series: Mickey Mantle, Jocko Conlan, Cool Papa Bell, Lefty Gomez, Judy Johnson, Sandy Koufax, Buck Leonard, Early Wynn, Monte Irvin, Warren Spahn, Whitey Ford, Billy Herman and Yogi Berra; Sixth Series: Bob Gibson, Johnny Mize, Al Kaline, Duke Snider, Willie Mays, Eddie Mathews, Joe Sewell, Ernie Banks, Robin Roberts, Bob Lemon and Ralph Kiner; Seventh Series: Travis Jackson, Ab Happy Chandler, Hank Aaron, George Kell, Frank Robinson, Juan Marichal and Brooks Robinson; Eighth Series: Rick Ferrell, Harmon Killebrew, Pee Wee Reese, Hoyt Wilhelm, Luis Aparicio, Lou Brock and Enos Slaughter; Ninth Series: Billy Williams, Catfish Hunter, Ray Dandridge, Bobby Doerr, Willie McCovey and Dick Perez/Peggy Steele/Frank Steele; Tenth Series: Carl Yastrzemski, Red Schoendienst, Johnny Bench, Al Barlick and Willie Stargell; Eleventh Series: Jim Palmer, Fergie Jenkins, Gaylord Perry and Joe Morgan; Twelfth Series: Steve Carlton.

Finally, two complete 1989 Perez-Steele Celebration postcard sets round out this lot. Both are featured in their original green presentation boxes with the cards, booklet and certificate. Signed cards include the following.
