    Description

1956 Napoleon Lajoie Signed Government Postcard. Number fourteen on the career hits chart with an impressive 3,242, Lajoie was so popular in his day that the Cleveland ballclub he represented was nicknamed the Naps in his honor. Here we find a 9+/10 blue ink autograph in his standard "Larry Lajoie" format. He adds the date of "3-14-56" and a "Good Luck" greeting. Postmark from "Daytona Beach, FLA" is dated March 15, 1956. Faint writing on address side has been erased and does not affect the Lajoie autograph. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
