    1953 Dizzy & Paul Dean Signed Government Postcard Lot of 2.
    The 1934 St. Louis Cardinals, also known as the "Gashouse Gang", had an all-time great lineup of nicknames, in addition to being stellar on the field - Charles "Dazzy" Vance, Joe "Ducky" Medwick, James "Tex" Carleton, Johnny "Pepper" Martin, James "Ripper" Collins, Virgil "Spud" Davis, George "Kiddo" Davis, Clyde "Buzzy" Wares, Robert "Red" Worthington, Burgess "Whitey" Whitehead, Charles "Chick" Fullis, and of course the Dean brothers "Dizzy" and "Daffy."

    Offered are a pair of government postcards, one signed by Diz and the other by Daf. Moderate wear throughout the 3.5x5.5" Dizzy postcard with a crease in the lower right corner. Reverse is addressed and postmarked May 4th, 1953. The Paul postcard displays lighter wear, is personalized "Best wishes to Donald" and is addressed and postmarked February 19th, 1953 on the reverse.
