    Description

1952 Ty Cobb Signed Government Postcard Ty Cobb received the most votes of any player on the 1936 inaugural Hall of Fame Ballot, receiving 222 out of a possible 226 votes. The offered GPC is nicely signed in vintage green ink by the dead-ball era icon. The postcard shows the stamp date on reverse of card as May 28, 1952. Vintage tape still covers most of the signature. A couple of small pieces of tape remain on the postcard's reverse. JSA Auction LOA.
