    Description

1952 Ty Cobb Signed Government Postcard. The fearsome Dead Ball legend responds to a young autograph seeker with a perfect signature in his trademark green ink, which he dates "8/5/52," matching the postmark on the back of the card, which derives from Cobb's home of Glenbrook, Nevada. The postcard is likewise addressed in Cobb's 10/10 green ink. The card shows appropriate mailing wear, with small bends at the corners, but the autograph remains in simply stellar condition, the perfect piece to frame with your favorite photo of the Hall of Fame's first resident. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
