    Description

1949 Jackie Robinson Signed Government Postcard, Slabbed by PSA. Pristine black ink inscription derives from early in this brave Hall of Famer's career, reading "Best Wishes, Sincerely Jackie Robinson." The postmark dates the card to August, 1949 in Pittsburgh, and while the day was not stamped dark enough to read, it's clearly a single digit, which matches a Dodgers August 1-4, 1949 road stand at Forbes Field. Card is encapsulated in a PSA slab for protection and unquestioned authenticity. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
