1947 Jackie Robinson Signed Government Postcard, PSA/DNA Gem Mint 10 - His First Week in the Majors. Extraordinary relic can be definitively established as one of the very first autographs signed by the Jackie Robinson as the man who broke Major League Baseball's color barrier. The "Boston, Mass, April 21, 1947" postmark on reverse applied just six days after his dangerous first step on to Ebbets Field's grass. The black fountain pen ink remains as strong as Robinson's will, rating this specimen as one of the finest Jackie GPC's in the hobby even in the absence of its remarkable vintage. Postcard exhibits mild mailing/handling wear that causes no visual distraction. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Gem Mint 10.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
