    Description

1946 Charles "Kid" Nichols Signed Government Postcard. At seventy-seven years of age, Nichols was hardly a "Kid" anymore, but he pleased one autograph seeker by signing this postcard in the most desirable "Charles 'Kid' Nichols" fashion. Autograph presents at a perfect 10/10, and appears on a GPC postmarked from Nichols' Kansas City hometown. Despite winning 369 games during his career, Nichols had to wait until age eighty to gain Hall of Fame credentials, passing just four years later. Many a quality Hall of Fame autograph collection is lacking him, and you'll find no finer example of his autograph than that which we present here. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
