1942 Babe Ruth Signed Government Postcard. One simply couldn't improve upon the quality of this 10/10 black fountain pen offering from the illustrious Bambino, mailed to an autograph seeker as Ruth visited Hollywood presumably to finish up work upon the filming of "The Pride of the Yankees" about his former teammate Lou Gehrig. While Ruth autographs certainly couldn't be considered scarce, it's not too often that you find the Babe on a government postcard, and few could hold a candle to this example. Toning and some moderate creasing must be noted, but our catalog imagery should properly indicate that these issues are of little concern. "March 11, 1942, Los Angeles, Calif." postmark on verso. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA for protection and unquestioned authenticity.
