    Description

1936 Lou Gehrig Signed Postcard, PSA/DNA Gem Mint 10. Picture postcard of the Yanks' Hotel Chase residence is postmarked "June 27, 1936," a day that saw the visitors disappoint the crowd at Sportsman's Park with a ten to six victory over the hometown St. Louis Browns. A flawless pencil inscription commands the left half of the verso, reading "Best Wishes Ralph, Lou Gehrig." Right half is addressed in the Iron Horse's attractive script. A fine relic from Gehrig's second American League MVP season. Postcard exhibits mailing wear but no damage to note. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
