1909 World Series - Pirates vs. Tigers - Game 1 Scorecard Postcard. Rookie Babe Adams, who had compiled a 12-3 record during the regular season, unexpectedly drew the start for Game 1 for Pittsburgh's Pirates. He responded with a six-hit, 4-1 victory sparked by Fred Clarke's game-tying home run in the bottom of the fourth. The legendary Honus Wagner also ripped a double off Detroit's George Mullin in the win.

The offered postcard was specially made for the 1909 Fall Classic and contained a special line score portion, which has been filled out to its entire on this specimen. The sender has also included various other figures from the contest and included a short note on the reverse. Mild-to-moderate wear exhibited on this early-World Series relic.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
