    Description

Pie Traynor Signed Handwritten Letter. An autographed 2-page letter signed by Pittsburgh Pirate Hall of Fame third baseman Pie Traynor to his wife Eve. The June 30, 1935 letter from St. Louis reads in part: ''It has been a long and tiresome trip, winning some and losing some. ...In New York I got a wallop on the finger and I had to get out of the lineup...Have a pay check in my pocket and I will visit and give it to you and you can put it in the bank...Loveingly / Pie'' Full tears to page center, otherwise good condition. Tears have been repaired on back of pages and restored nicely. JSA Auction LOA.
