Hank Aaron Signed Photograph Lot of 3. UPDATE: One of the photos has not passed authentication and has been removed from the lot.

Inspired by the success of Jackie Robinson, a fifteen-year-old Henry Aaron signed with the semi-pro Mobile Black Bears in 1949, for a sum of $3 per game (limited to home games by his mother). Two years later Aaron would move from Alabama to Indianapolis and sign with the Clowns for a more robust contract of $200 per month. After only a year in Indy, scouts from the Giants and Braves had seen enough of him to each offer a contract, with a higher salary tipping the scales towards the Braves. Aaron made the opening day roster in 1954 at 20-years-old, in part due to Bobby Thompson's broken ankle. An ankle injury of his own shortened the '54 campaign, but Hammerin' Hank was well on his way to stardom. Twenty-three seasons, 3771 hits, 2297 RBIs, and 755 home runs later Henry Louis Aaron remains one of the greats players to step on the diamond.

Offered are three 8x10" photographs, each signed in bold blue sharpie by Aaron. Only light wear exhibited. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
