Don Larsen and Yogi Berra Signed Oversized Photograph. One of the all time great moments in the history of Baseball is depicted in this dual signed 11" x 14" photo. Larsen no longer had the fastball that gained him five strikeouts in the first four innings. He had only two more in the next four and in the ninth he depended on change of speeds. He got Carl Furillo, after four foul balls, on a meek fly to left. Two quick strikes to Roy Campanella preceded a soft roller to second. Then came pinch-hitter Dale Mitchell, a veteran lefthander hitter.
"Ball one came in high. Larsen got a called strike. On the next pitch, Mitchell swung for strike two. Then the last pitch of the game. Mitchell started to swing, but he didn't go through with it. But it made no difference because Umpire Babe Pinelli was calling it Strike Number Three, and baseball history was being made. Larsen and Berra have signed in mint blue sharpie and added the date 10-8-56. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
