    Description

Circa 1961 Roger Maris Signed Photograph. While the blue sharpie post-career autographs of Maris are still valuable and highly desirable, there's nothing like a signature dating from the era of Rajah's greatness. This team-issued 8x10" (complete with Yankees team stamping on verso) is flawlessly inscribed in vintage blue ink, "To Brian, Best of Luck, Roger Maris." Make no mistake--this is Maris' vintage autograph, very possibly signed during his heroic 1961 campaign. Some creasing and a very slight tear are confined to the border regions, allowing for a NRMT appearance with a simple framing job. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
