Circa 1937 Joe McCarthy & Jacob Ruppert Signed Type 1 Photograph. Only two Major League managers have ever won seven World Series championships, and both happened to skipper the same team - the New York Yankees. Casey Stengel managed the feat in the 1940's and 1950's, but prior to him came Joe McCarthy, who won his seven titles between 1932 and 1943. McCarthy did this under the team ownership of Jacob Ruppert, who lived to see six of those championships.

This rare type 1 original photograph dates from 1936 to 1937, based upon similar companion pieces of Joe DiMaggio and Tony Lazzeri, whose careers in pinstripes only crossed paths in those two seasons. The crisp image on this 8x10" photo has been signed by both McCarthy and Ruppert, and features strong 9/10 signatures. Photo has minor corner wear but is in excellent condition. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
