    Description

1980's Mickey Mantle Signed Photographs Lot of 2. Pair of 8x10" photos were signed by the New York Yankees legend to a golf buddy at the Desert Forest Golf Club in Carefree, Arizona. The first is an unassuming portrait of the pair, inscribed with the standard, "To Jim, My Best Wishes, Mickey Mantle." The second, however, gives a taste of the irreverent humor for which the Mick was known. He stands to the side of his buddy as he tees off, waving a finger in his direction. The inscription explains Mantle's maneuver, reading, "Jim, My zap didn't work, you lucky shit. Mickey Mantle." All writing is in 10/10 black sharpie, and the photos are likewise free of flaws. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
