    Description

1962 New York Yankees Team Signed Large Photograph. The handwritten notation "(Roomie)" beside Tom Tresh's signature at the top of the far right column of autographs leads us to believe this photo was once owned by Joe Pepitone, who bunked with Tresh for six years while on the road with the Yanks. Certainly only players and VIP's would be in possession of such an impressively large signed team photo, and what a team this was! Thirty-five World Championship signatures decorate the wide lower margin of this 16x20" photograph, including Maris, Berra, Ford, Howard, Richardson, Kubek, Skowron, Terry, Sain, Boyer, Turley, famed equipment manager Pete Sheehy and many more. Mantle, unfortunately, appears in secretarial format. Proud years of display have resulted in some fading of both the image and the signatures, which average 7/10 with only Hec Lopez (2/10) dipping significantly below that mark. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
