Mickey Mantle Signed New York Yankees Cap. In the annals of New York Yankee lore, Mickey Mantle exists as one man who garnered almost universal reverence by the Gotham faithful. Here he has signed and inscribed the underside of the visor of the provided Yankees cap to read "To Tom -- My Best Wishes -- Your Friend Mickey Mantle." Also printed there is a small "Mick 7." Vintage New Era pro model baseball cap has all of the hallmarks that possibly qualify it as a team issued cap, though it cannot be stated with any definitive assurance that it is. The cap sports much wear, with the visor creased and a 2.5" tear at one of the seams, but that does little to detract from the magnitude of this exceptional and iconic piece. LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
