Inaugural Baseball Hall of Fame Class Signed Blank Cards Lot of 9. It's autograph collecting in its purest form, free of distractions. Everybody loves the single signed baseball, but almost never will you find horsehide with these names so tastefully rendered and exquisitely bold. Nine of the Original Eleven from the inaugural 1939 induction ceremonies at Cooperstown are compiled here for your consideration, each centered upon his own paper medium constructed in the size, shape and stock of a high-quality business card. All fountain pen ink survives at an impressive strength of 9/10 or better, and while several exhibit toning from decades tucked amongst newspaper clippings in an ancient scrapbook, each presents marvelously.

The honored figures: Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Cy Young, Walter Johnson, J. Honus Wagner, Connie Mack, GC Alexander, Tris Speaker and a splendid Napoleon Lajoie. Each stands as the elite exemplar of its creator, and as a tribute to the pioneering original collector who has proven that good taste never goes out of style. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
