Circa 1971 Roberto Clemente Signed Image. It's an image that should be recognizable to most hobbyists, though a couple factors set this one apart. First, the glorious 10/10 inscription, reading, "Best Wishes, Roberto Clemente" is actually signed in the tragic Hall of Famer's own hand. Most seen in the hobby today were instead autographed by Clemente's driver, a talented ghost signer. And, secondly, almost all of these 5x8.5" images are found in folded form, while this one has not a crease or other defect to be found. Certainly the "best in class." Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
