Circa 1940 Walter Johnson Signed Cut. Considered by many to be the greatest pitcher in baseball history, "Big Train" Walter Johnson took home three Pitching Triple Crowns while leading the league in wins, ERA or strikeouts twenty-three different times. In an era when strikeouts were not racked up like they are now, Johnson led in strikeouts twelve out of fifteen seasons between 1910 and 1924, racking up 3,509 over the course of his career.

The offered cut signature of Johnson measures approximately 1x3.25" and was cut off of a signed check. It has been encapsulated by BVG with a 1980 Perez-Steele postcard above it. The signature, rating a 10/10, has been authenticated by James Spence authentication, and the entire display measures 6x9." Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Encapsulated as "Authentic" by JSA/BGS.
