    Description

    Circa 1940 Ty Cobb Signed Film Box. The reel inside this 4x4x1" box is empty of film, leaving one to imagine what footage might once have been contained within. Now the appeal rests solely in the 8/10 black fountain pen autograph from the Georgia Peach, underscored by his handwritten, "Augusta, Ga." home address and "Eastman Kodak Col, Rochester, NY" destination. Box is VG-EX. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
