    Description

Circa 1940 Babe Ruth Signed Blank Business Card Display. While it's likely that the Babe served up this autograph format in various engagements, several that we've seen have derived from his days in the NBC radio booth where these signed blank business cards were dealt to young visitors. We suspect this might be the genesis of the provided model, one slabbed as simply "Authentic" by PSA/DNA, though entirely capable of claiming a top-tier assessment should the winning bidder resubmit with a grading request. Our prediction (not a guarantee) is that a Mint 9 grade would be the result. The slabbed signature forms the centerpiece of the hulking 36x39" display which features modern prints of vintage photographs, die cut design touches and an engraved plaque set against a pinstriped background. Encapsulated "Authentic" by PSA/DNA. Third party shipping required.
