1996 Mariano Rivera First Career Save Full Ticket, PSA Mint 9. There may be no other athlete in American history that enjoys such a universal consensus as "greatest ever" than Mariano Rivera, the only name that ever is voiced in answer to the question of baseball's top closer. His 652 career saves ranks him first for the sport's most nerve-wracking defensive task, and while hundreds kept their tickets from that last last-out, nobody could've seen that brightest of futures for the first save on May 17, 1996 as he squeezed the last breath from the visiting California Angels for the eventual World Champs. The original owner of this ticket missed the game altogether, a mistake that pays dividends for collectors today. Population five, with none grading higher! Encapsulated by PSA, Mint 9.
