    Description

1990's Joe DiMaggio "Yankee Clipper" Signed Jersey. Red Schoendienst once noted of Joe DiMaggio, "He was a solid ball player in every way. I never saw him make a mistake, but there was a smooth way he had of going about everything. That's why they put that name on him, the Yankee Clipper." Presumably this also explains the smooth, flawless application of the blue sharpie signature on the chest of this Mitchell & Ness Cooperstown Collection flannel jersey, underscored with the famous nickname rarely seen on DiMaggio's autographed collectibles. Authenticating sticker and paperwork attribute the creation to "Yankee Clipper Enterprises," DiMaggio's personal marketing company. A fine memento of Marilyn Monroe's ex. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
    Guide Value or Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500.
