1984 Ted Williams & Hank Greenberg Handwritten Letters to Each Other. Two of the greatest sluggers of their era send playful notes to each other in this rather charming lot illustrating the close friendship of the former American League rivals. Greenberg challenges Williams to a tennis match, writing, "Ted, Get in shape for 3 out of 5 sets at Cooperstown this summer. Bring cash." He also jokes about making a Big League comeback as a designated hitter. Williams responds, "Dear friend Hank, Great to hear from you, know all about your tennis & your (sic) probably better etc then (sic) I am but I'm a Bobby Riggs type & smart." Each signs his full name, and all ink is 9/10 or better. Original mailing folds, but no other issues of note. Full PSA/DNA LOA for each letter. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (one for lot).

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
