    Description

1973 Roberto Clemente Memorial Resolution Plaque Presented to His Widow. The Major Leagues officially "record Baseball's enduring grief over the tragic and untimely loss on December 31, 1972 of Roberto Clemente" and to extend "to Roberto's widow, Vera, and to his family in their bereavement the profound condolences of Professional Baseball and the assurance that Roberto's dream of building a 'sports city' in Puerto Rico will be fulfilled." The mournful relic measures 14.5x20" in size and the document, sealed to a wood backing, is autographed in 10/10 ink by Commissioner Bowie Kuhn and League presidents Joe Cronin and Chuck Feeney. A fitting tribute to one of the greatest men ever to gain fame in our National Pastime. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
