    Description

1962 "Safe at Home" Lobby Card, Signed by Mantle & Maris. While this charmingly clumsy tale didn't exactly challenge "Lawrence of Arabia" for Best Picture honors in 1962 Academy Award voting, the casting of the M&M Boys has secured this film a place in the hearts of millions of movie buffs. Presented here is a classic image of Roger and Mickey with the film's young protagonist, posted upon one of the film's lobby cards issued at the time of the original release. Years later came the 10/10 blue sharpie signatures from the Yankee legends, elevating the piece to the heights of collectibility. The lobby card measures a standard 11x14" in size, with a four-inch vertical tear at bottom center barely noticeable, and well clear of the autographs. From any distance, the piece exudes a NRMT appearance. Skillfully matted and framed, with an engraved informational plaque, to final dimensions of 20x22". LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
