    Description

1960 New York Yankees Line-Up Cards Lot of 2 from the Casey Stengel Collection. Despite the year "1959" appearing at the top of one of this pair of line-up cards once posted in the Yankee dugout, the appearance of "Maris" in the number three spot assures us of 1960 vintage. The two cards present differing strategies in batting order, with Mantle batting second and Maris clean-up on one, and Maris third and Mantle fourth on the other. All is written in Stengel's 10/10 pencil, complete with his authorizing signature. Each card measures approximately 3.5x5", and presents no noteworthy condition problems. A fascinating look into the inner workings of this American League Championship team. LOA from PSA/DNA.
