1956 Ty Cobb Signed Handwritten Note. While there are plenty of cuts, checks, and even a decent amount of photos and baseballs out there signed by "The Georgia Peach," this auction offers something a little different. Technically a signed cut, the 2.5x7" slip of paper offers a nice handwritten note from Ty Cobb with a simple "Ty" signature. The note reads:

"Dear Doc - Please let bearer have my mail if any, also do I owe you any money for stamps - Ty - Sept-6-56."

While not baseball content per se, Cobb was actively signing items through the mail until his death and he certainly could have been referring to fan mail, at least in part. The signature rates in at an 8/10. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Authentic.
