1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Album. Actually, it's technically an address book, but this little (2.5x4") volume was assigned the much higher purpose of fandom, as our consignor presented this gift from his aunt to the National League Champs as they attended a banquet at Brooklyn's St. George Hotel. With incredible hobby vision, our consignor insisted that each player sign his own page, and when he realized that Duke Snider had signed the reverse of Jackie Robinson's page, he went back for a new Snider decades later. Campy, Drysdale, Cimoli, Craig and Bob Darnell sign in pencil, the rest in ink, all 9/10 or better. Other notables include Hodges, Koufax, Zimmer, Jackson, Erskine, Newcombe and Labine. Included is a letter of provenance from the consignor, and a copy of his letter to Snider requesting his signature to complete the one-autograph-per-page theme in 1992. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
