    1950's Various Contents of Clyde Milan's Scrapbook. Interesting pieces from the Milan scrapbook, as follows: 1) 1952 TLS from Director of Baseball Hall of Fame asking if Milan still has the sunglasses he wore as the first Major League player to do so. Also newspaper clipping of Milan in those sunglasses. 2) 1951 signed (by Milan) contract to appear in Bowman baseball card set. 3) 1951 cover letter from "Bowman Gum Inc." that accompanied $10 check for inclusion in the famous set. 4) 1953 Joe Cronin ALS to Milan's widow expressing condolences. 5) 1953 George Case ALS, same occasion. 6) 1952 Washington Senators coaching contract signed by Milan and Clark Griffith. All but newspaper clipping in fine condition. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
