    1950 Honus Wagner Twice-Signed Book. First edition of Frederick Lieb's handcover volume "The Pittsburgh Pirates" bears a pair of autographs from the most significant figure to wear the team's uniform to that date. The opening page is inscribed in bold (9+/10) blue ink, "1950, With best wishes to Dr. R.E. Gregg from Honus Wagner." A few pages later we encounter a full page photo of the Old Dutchman, which he simply autographs in equally bold ink. A bit of toning affects the inscription of the earlier application, and very light foxing the page of the second, but neither minimizes the strength of the writing. Book is missing its jacket, but other than the aforementioned toning issues requires no further condition warnings. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
