1942 Babe Ruth, Mel Ott & Others Signed "Who's Who In the Major Leagues" Book. One popular way of acquiring autographs of baseball players back in the first half of the 20th Century was through the use of annual periodicals, having each player sign on their biography page and photograph. This particular book features over seventy signatures, primarily cut signatures that have been taped into place on their respective pages. The book has been hardbound, although pages are loose and some taped together. Condition is rough, but the content is superb. The key of course, is Babe Ruth in 10/10 fountain pen on a signed cut with tape over the signature. Some other keys include Ted Lyons, Mel Ott, Rick Ferrell, Mickey Vernon, Benny Bengough, Billy Herman, Pee Wee Reese, Enos Slaughter, Johnny Mize, Carl Hubbell and Chuck Klein. Book measures 6x9." Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
