    1940s Earle Combs and Art Fletcher Signed Handwritten Letters Lot of 2. Two men who figured largely in the success of the New York Yankees from the late-1920s until the mid 1940s have each contributed a handwritten letter dating from the 1940s to this lot. Long-time coach with the team Art Fletcher has signed a handwritten letter from spring training that dates April 1942, while the Hall of Famer Earle Combs has signed the closing of his 1947 letter "Earle," adding an additional "E." after the post script. LOA from PSA/DNA.
