1940's Babe Ruth Signed Cut Signature. A few kind words from the Sultan of Swat, who appears to have responded to a fan's correspondence at the bottom of that letter. He writes, "Thanks for you [sic] Lovely Letter, Sincerely Babe Ruth." This fan then clipped the Babe's 10/10 black fountain pen note and glued it to a scrapbook page, preserving it for posterity. Ruth's market is clearly one on the rise, particularly for high-grade autographs, a description that certainly applies to this example. As an added bonus, the backside of this clipped scrapbook page offers a 10/10 cut signature from the original Frankenstein's monster, Boris Karloff. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
