1939 Philadelphia Athletics Championship Teams Reunion Signed Menu. Connie Mack's World Series-winning squads of the twentieth century's first three decades convened on September 10, 1939 to relive past glories, and to place their autographs on this rare keepsake. Forty autographs are here in all, featuring some of the biggest stars of the era: J. Franklin Baker, Herb Pennock (twice), Mickey Cochrane, Eddie Collins, Chief Bender, William Harridge, Joe Bush, Max Bishop, Stuffy McInnis, Cy Perkins and many more. One autograph has been clipped from the menu at lower left-we assume it was Connie Mack himself. This area was repaired by tape ages ago, and the edges of the program show expected wear, but the autographs present remain in uniform 9/10 and better condition. A fine memento of what must have been an incredible night of reminiscing and story telling. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
