1939 New York World's Fair Academy of Sport Signed Cards Lot of 5. It's arguably the most famous World's Fair in history, best remembered for the modernist structures called the Trylon and Perisphere pictured at upper left of each card presented here, and for the "Academy of Sport" that brought the greatest names in American athletics to the Big Apple to educate the youth. A youngster named Billy Tonery was the recipient of these five cards, autographed in 9/10 or better ink by the following teachers: George Selkirk, Rollie Helmsley, Del Baker, Charlie Keller and Tiny Bonham. Each is encapsulated as "Authentic" by PSA/DNA.
